The massive full-dive game New World opens its beta test. Drawn by the game's high degree of exploration, Hanyu Qing signs up. He only meant to be an ordinary scenery lover, but unexpectedly, love falls right into his lap.

Hanyu Qing: Dating a game character would be so lame.

After meeting someone: Hehe, wifey, hehe.

As he progresses through quests and his romance blossoms, Hanyu Qing's gaming experience is simply fantastic.

Then one day, after finding success in both love and his career, he opens the forum to see if there are any updates to the game's story. That's when he discovers that a comic that somehow knows too much has depicted his boyfriend, and he seems to be a villain.

What's more, just two hours before they spent the night together, his beloved had knocked someone out cold.

As Hanyu Qing sits on the bed, pondering all the moments they've shared over the years, a hoarse voice comes from behind him.

"You're up?"

Hanyu Qing turns around. Morning light filters through the blinds and falls on his lover's face, making his emerald eyes gleam like the finest jade.

Bright and clear.

Yet concealing a fierce, murderous glint.

Hanyu Qing stops thinking about all that nonsense. He slips back under the covers, curls up in his lover's arms, and tries to warm him.

"Zhen, let's do it again."

He kisses the man's chin and strokes his long hair, flowing like a cascade of quicksilver.

"We've still got a long time together."

I wrote the first six chapters in April 2022 and kept them because I liked them so much. The writing style may be a little different once I start the novel (scratches head).

*There will definitely be OOC moments, and lots of misunderstandings.

*I'm really into Gin right now, so I'm just going to write this first...

*Feel-good wish fulfillment. Qing is a chaotic neutral character, and I won't bash anyone.

*Combat checks in the game are described using rhythm-game judgment lines and motion-based attacks.

*The bonus chapters may have alternate romance routes with other characters (if I get around to writing them, damn it).
