I See the Blue Mountains

[Updated whenever inspiration strikes. Not very long, so read with caution.]

Whenever Xu Huai wakes from a dream in the dead of night, he thinks of Gu Lanshan again and again. He thinks of their dramatic first meeting, and heartache teases his longing out thread by thread.

During those dark, endless years, he replayed the possibilities in his mind countless times. In the end, he realized that no matter what, that moon hanging high above would always come for him.

Cool, refined young master gong (Gu Lanshan) vs. roguishly handsome, blunt, and ruthless shou (Xu Huai)

Note:

1. The gong is slow to warm up and aloof; the shou is proactive and obsessive. The two are mutually devoted and madly in love. The story is told from the gong's perspective, but the shou gets plenty of scenes.

2. A melodramatic, angst-filled romance dressed up in literary prose. Both leads suffer, and there are lots of flashbacks to their high school days. Read with caution if that isn't your thing.
