Zhang Moxi's great-uncle leaves her an old mansion in his will, on the condition that she can live there but not sell it.

The old mansion is charmingly antique, and though the temperature is a little low and the villagers are too afraid to go near it, it has a modern bathroom and is quite comfortable to live in, if only the ancient-style man who claims to be the owner and fights her for the place weren't there.

He wears a high-collared red-and-white robe every day. His temperament is aloof, his face alluring, and his gaze vicious. He keeps wandering around in front of her and adjusting the temperature in the house without permission. At midnight, he deliberately leaves the faucet running to keep her awake.
