Master, It's Been a While

Aloof, lie-flat shizun gong vs. cold and ruthless Sword Venerable shou

Wu Qing rose to fame at a young age. When he became a Sword Venerable, he took on a disciple. Later, he fell to demonic ways and was slain by his disciple beneath Mount Qiuming.

He was later reborn as a young man and hunted down. By a twist of fate, he became his disciple's disciple.

Wu Qing takes things as they come and has no desire to pursue the Great Dao. He spends his days eating, drinking, and waiting to die, and things are going reasonably well.

Until he finds a corpse in his disciple's bedroom. The corpse is dressed in the clothes he wore when he became a Sword Venerable, preserved so perfectly it looks alive.

His suddenly deranged disciple strikes him and sends him flying out of Haitang Hall. With his frail constitution, he spends three days and nights in bed.

Wu Qing: "..."

That wasn't what left him speechless. What truly left him speechless was when his disciple recognized him, grabbed him by the wrist, and murmured darkly in his ear, "Shizun, I've searched so long for you. Have you decided what to say to your disciple now that we've met again?"

Wu Qing: "..."

Should... Should I say goodbye?
