Tao Zhi had a secret of her own, one she'd kept hidden for ten years.

But after getting what she'd wished for, she belatedly realized that her aloof, proud senior wasn't as cool and self-possessed as she seemed.

On a stormy night when the power went out, she broke free from a deep, desperate kiss. An old ailment flared up, leaving her unable to speak. She could only tremble as she pushed at the other's shoulder, tears silently rolling down her cheeks.

The other woman eased up a little, but her kiss soon came invading again. A cool voice laced with amusement teased her nerves. "Tell me if you can't take it anymore."

Tao Zhi was practically melting from the other woman's cool touch, but she still couldn't tell her.
