New novel blurb: The Amorous Dao Ancestor Is in a Love Triangle Every Day
She left home alone to pursue her career, neglecting the male supporting characters in her harem for years.
She also has a family group chat. Because the family is in debt, they launch a marriage alliance plan behind her back, carefully choosing a Sword Saint from the Spirit Clan to be her husband.
She complains and grumbles: What the hell? They’re bringing arranged marriages into the cultivation world? What, have they got rocks in their heads?
When calling off the engagement fails, she simply runs away from the wedding.
Running away from her wedding is a sign of poor character. She hears the head of the Spirit Clan is a sword cultivator, surely a man of upright principles who behaves properly. He definitely wouldn’t like a partner like her, right?
So she returns to her harem, surrounded by handsome men, drinking and making merry, completely content with her life.
One day, her Sword Saint husband kicks the door open and, face cold, scoops her into his arms. His cool voice murmurs by her ear: “You told me, ‘Of all the waters in the world, I’ll drink from only one.’ Have you forgotten?”
She’s stunned and stammers, “What?”
“Come back and marry me.”
The sword's bloom never fades in the cold, the bow-shaped moon shines brighter at dawn
[Survival-minded, laid-back, gifted sword-cultivator heroine x gloomy, violent, moody powerhouse of the Demon Realm]
That year, Ren Shuying was young and full of spirit. Holding her Snowbreaker Sword, she stood with a stern expression in the Infinite Tower and said to the junior disciples beside her:
“All the demons in the world are wicked to the core. They all deserve to die. If you catch one, don’t let it escape alive!”
Little did she know that the heavens would play such a cruel joke on her...
She had actually been in love with the inner demon of a powerful figure from the Demon Realm?!
Honestly, if only she knew, she could still deny everything. The trouble was, the powerful one liked to make a big show of his love life.
Rejected when he tried to court her, the powerful one seemed to lash out in embarrassment: “Believe me, I’ll expose what happened between us?”
Ren Shuying was dumbfounded. “What happened?”
“We did brother-and-sister-in-law cosplay.”
Ren Shuying cursed inwardly: Oh no! That really did happen!
Remembering the mortifying sight of the powerful one holding her and kissing her, she stammered to her fellow disciples, “...I think everyone deserves love. Heaven covers us all, and earth bears us all.”
Her fellow disciples: “Is he even human?!”
The powerful one appeared out of nowhere, and everyone turned pale and backed away in fright.
“I’m hers. What’s the problem?”
After escaping prison, Ren Shuying got involved with Gu Zhujing, Lord of the Demon Realm. He was rather handsome, but his temper was worse than a stone in a latrine.
When she spoke to him, he coolly replied, “No.”
When she invited him to eat noodles, he hesitated before saying, “All right.”
When she asked if he wanted to date her, the tips of his ears reddened. “I’m not interested.”
After the memoir arc ended, Gu Zhujing came to see her every day, earnest and a little aggrieved. “Could you do me a favor? Please?”
“Go ahead.”
“Come back with me to the Demon Realm.”
With a sharp snap, Ren Shuying shut the door without hesitation and tossed out one cold word:
“Get lost.”
1. Volume one focuses on the plot; romance takes center stage from volume two onward, with a historical-romance feel. [Amnesia trope]
2. The male lead appears in Chapter 2. He’s slow on the uptake at first (facepalm), but later turns into a hopeless romantic (and gets thoroughly drenched in melodrama).
3. Nontraditional cultivation setting, with an imaginary geography.
4. The heroine and male lead are imperfect characters. Read with caution.
Theme: Strive for a successful life
I almost didn't recognize it after changing the name and cover [cat head] [cat head] [cat head]
"Bitterness" is a big thorn in the side of the author~ cry
