Ordinary mortals worry about life and death, sighing and fretting in distress;
Little do they know that even the Kings of Hell have their troubles.
And so it is said:
The Ten Kings of the Underworld each have their own hidden motives.
※ Notes and quotations are in the author's notes. Lots of original worldbuilding. Everyone is a complete lunatic. Fictional. Synopsis is provisional.
※ Synopsis adapted from Ling Mengchu's The Second Collection of Stories to Strike the Table, written during the Ming dynasty.
P.S.
1. The divine system is mainly based on Taoist mythology, mixed with Buddhist and folk tales, plus a ton of the author's own fantasies. There are lots of original details, so please don't nitpick.
2. There might be a lot of couples. Bonds that linger in your heart even after you've stopped frowning!
3. Some scenes contain [gore] and [violence], mostly in the underworld.
4. As usual, the synopsis is terrible. This provisional version is for reference only.
5. The characters' values do not represent the author's. They're Kings of Hell, after all.
