[Ancient to Modern] A Lover Hard to Choose

Stars, CEOs, painters, musicians... They all say they like me, but I'm not the original owner of this body anymore. I'm a character in a book, and the message history tells me that the person who used to own this body even sent the book a tip an hour ago. For some reason, I've ended up in her body. I don't know if she'll ever come back, or who she wants to develop feelings for. What am I supposed to do in this situation?

Today, I carefully combed through her chat records with them and found that on the last day, she called the star “baby” one more time than she called anyone else that. There were also several photos of the star in the room. I think I have good reason to believe she likes the star more, so I should keep seeing her. But in the evening, the painter took out a self-portrait of the painter that the original owner had drawn. The evidence was compelling, and I wavered, so I had dinner with the painter. That night, the musician called. I hadn't wanted to answer, but the musician sadly said that in the past, I could only fall asleep after listening to her play me a goodnight melody...

The CEO: “Huh? When I brought you antique paintings this morning, you said I was the one who understood you best...”

Maybe this is a stock-picking romance? The idea came to me while I was working on Transmigrating into a Book and Flirting with the Unrivaled Beauty. The two protagonists switch identities: a player who dates everyone transmigrates into a book where she isn't the universally adored protagonist, while the character who gets displaced ends up in the player's body. Idea recorded on October 14, 2024. If all goes well, I'll write this after finishing the universally adored beauty story.

Theme: The mystery box is waiting to be opened.
