Yike has recently been playing a wasteland-themed game called Infinite Shimmer.
As an achievement hunter, her goal is to complete the entire catalog and unlock every hidden ending.
She discovers that this little game has gorgeous characters, lifelike monsters, and an incredibly high degree of freedom. You can even earn achievements by crying on the chest of a battle-scarred dad-like guy.
Yike: Wait, that's an option?
Missions, items, creatures.
Food, giant beasts, territories...
From the surface to underground, then back to the surface, she diligently fights monsters and levels up.
The only strange thing is that every NPC looks at her with incredibly knowing eyes.
Also, how can a single-player game have a love-rivalry ending?

Then the pink-haired girl shouted, "Don't touch my babies!" and punched an S-threat-level alien beast into oblivion, before bundling up their battered squad leader and taking him away.

Dong Ren was a humanoid blade, raised as a weapon and forever sent to the front lines against the alien beasts. He was invincible because he felt no pain.
He should have bled to death in his final moments, but he didn't.

Humans, alien beasts, and even some sticky, unidentified creatures.
