[Inuyasha] Even Sesshomaru Can't Resist the Call of True Love

[I was ill while writing this. Don't read an abandoned story.]

Three months into their marriage, Shuangye has seen her husband only twice. The eldest son of the Western Kingdom's dog demons, a man of noble birth, has no feelings for her.

A white dog and a black cat, as different as heaven and earth.

She was only there to carry out her father's mission, yet Shuangye falls for him and can't help wanting to know more about him.

Her husband's parents were also in a political marriage. His father was a mighty general who died for the princess of a small city. His half-brother, a half-demon, is infatuated with a priestess, and their romantic entanglement is quite complicated too.

--- A dog demon's true love is a human woman.

A perfectly good little cat goes and learns the complicated etiquette of a noble lady, and even with her hands covered in wounds, she still practices archery.

A friend from another world watches and shakes their head. Give up. Sesshomaru is destined to end up with that human girl.

Later, her husband brings home an utterly ordinary-looking, disheveled human girl.

In that moment,

Shuangye understands the power of fate.

The little girl grows into a graceful young woman, and Shuangye prepares to leave.

As she chooses a kimono for the human girl, a plush tail carrying a cool fragrance slips around her from behind, and a long, cool hand takes hold of hers.

A low, magnetic voice, restrained at her ear, says: Don't go.

Her hand trembles, and the fabric slips softly to the floor.

She must have misheard.

Someone's perspective:

#Just a delicate, weak, pretty good-for-nothing#

#What was she doing yesterday?#

#Damn it, I still can't refuse her#

#She said she liked me last night, so why is she leaving today?#

[Reading Guide] Blurb revised on 2024/06/14

1. The main story is written in third person.

2. A cat-and-dog couple: a face-blind, straightforward, adorably clueless, pretty black cat x a devoted, proud, cold white dog. A bittersweet-sweet story.

3. The style is completely different from the author's previous original female character x Sesshomaru story. Consider them parallel worlds.

4. The plot and romance are split evenly. Most of the worldbuilding is made up by the author, and there are original transmigrated side characters. You don't need to know the original work to enjoy it. In short, it's very out of character!

Theme: True love is difficult, rare, and full of contradictions
