Lian Yu was a high-level criminal holding the Star Alliance's top-secret "Planet Annihilation" plan, with a danger rating of five stars. After the Star Alliance captured her, they executed her at once.
When she opened her eyes again after death, Lian Yu had been reborn as a beggar girl on a barren planet, also named Lian Yu...

Road Survival is currently the hottest survival variety show. It's hugely popular not only because it's novel, but also because its elimination system is brutally cruel.
The contestants really do fight to the death.
The participants come from all walks of life: the most evil people, those with formidable combat abilities, people with special powers... In short, they all have one thing in common: they're strong.
The seeded contestants in particular are all well-known names on the interstellar combat rankings, without exception.
But! Once the show begins, the contestant who keeps taking first place and leaving everyone stunned isn't one of the seeded contestants the audience bet on. It's a frail girl who looks like she couldn't hurt a fly and has a faint air of death about her!
Her eyes are world-weary, and she holds an iron hammer, looking completely out of place among the strong men around her.
Yet she has far more supplies than anyone else, and her methods of killing are far more sophisticated, too.
The most infuriating part is that every time she kills someone, she mutters, "Amitabha. May Buddha protect you."
Audience: As expected! Blue Star's serial killers all love to pray and abstain from meat!

With a talent that triples her loot drops, Lian Yu has the best possible start.
She gets several times more supplies than everyone else and never has to worry about food or drink.
But! Years of starvation have left her original body unable to grow strong, and she often suffers from stomach problems. It drives her mad and makes her sick of life!
Especially when some tall, strong guy comes up to show off and try to rob her, she uses him to fill out her kill-method handbook and expand her repertoire!
The audience strongly condemns her: She's pretending to be weak to catch her enemies off guard!
Lian Yu, innocent: I barely killed anyone, less than forty percent of them.
Theme: Grow toward the light
