Her name was Bai Ning, but she wore red dresses with high slits every day, and lipstick so bright it was almost too much.

Jiang Ziying endured two hours before finally making her escape. When she got home, she even received a message from her friend complaining about Bai Ning.

Her friend didn't know. As night grew dark, Jiang Ziying opened the door to her rented apartment and, with the smell of alcohol in the air, pulled Bai Ning into her arms.

With a single captivating smile, she pulled down her zipper and asked Jiang Ziying to kiss her.

"When will you accept my confession?" Bai Ning's voice was bewitching.

Jiang Ziying only kissed her collarbone.

The wild night ended at dawn. Jiang Ziying took Bai Ning's nameplate to the bar,

ending the six months she'd spent keeping Bai Ning.

Once, Jiang Ziying had run away from home and had her allowance cut off.

When money was tight, she moved in with Bai Ning, and the two squeezed into a rundown rented apartment.

Their passionate kisses warmed the whole winter. The snow melted beneath their heat, leaving not a drop on the window frame.

It was Bai Ning who turned down Jiang Ziying's confession.

With nothing left to keep her there, the swan finally let go of her wild ways and traveled far away. Jiang Ziying returned to Harbor City to resume her life as a young lady.
