Dating Sims Are No Match for Basketball

Kise has a secret. Ever since his second year of middle school, there's been a game on his phone called Kuroko Conquest: 100% that he can't uninstall, no matter what he tries.

The game has an affection system for its conquest targets. Completing missions earns points that can be exchanged for some amazing little items, although they don't seem to be much use.

But Kuroko is worth it! So he's definitely going to beat this game!

As it happens, Akashi, Aomine, Midorima, and Murasakibara all have the same game.

They watch their affection ratings climb from 30 to over 90, and some of them think they're about to succeed.

But then, on that very day, they watch helplessly as the ratings plummet into the negatives.

Kuroko feels like his teammates are getting stranger and stranger. Especially after their talents start blossoming one after another. They still get along fairly well off the court, but whenever they play, they never take the game seriously and keep showing disrespect to their opponents.

So, after being driven to despair, he chooses to leave and look for a new life.

Seirin is great. Everything's pretty good, except for a certain red-haired idiot who keeps looking at him strangely.

But it doesn't matter. As long as he can play basketball, Tetsuya Kuroko is happy.

Kagami, already playing in the NBA, suddenly discovers a new feature in the conquest game on his phone. After spending the whole night figuring it out, he suddenly realizes how the feature is supposed to be used.

"Coach! Kuroko's about to transfer! Hurry up and recruit him!"

Content warnings:

1. There are different endings. Avoid anything you don't want to read.

2. Don't be misled by the title or blurb. This is actually a serious sports competition story. Long live passionate young athletes!

3. A long-form coming-of-age story, including a professional basketball arc. Kuroko, Kise, Murasakibara, Kagami, and Aomine all play professional basketball. Akashi is an investor, and Midorima plays part-time.

4. Character bashing and extreme fans of any kind, please stay away. OOC is mine; the characters belong to Fujimaki-sensei.

Theme: The Olympic spirit is one of mutual understanding, friendship, solidarity, and fair competition.
