Synopsis:
1.
Cheng Yang grew up with a father who didn't care for him and a mother who didn't love him. After his parents divorced, the only one he had to rely on was his brother, six years older than him.
When Cheng Yang was fifteen, his brother died in a car accident. Their relatives treated him like a burden and passed him around from one to another. Then, as if things weren't bad enough, after getting into a fight with a sharp-tongued classmate, he was kicked out of the house for good.
He had just 32 yuan and 60 cents to his name.
With nowhere to go, Cheng Yang crouched by a flower bed downstairs from his apartment building, staring blankly into space.
A black SUV pulled up beside him without a sound.
"Hey, kid. Are you Cheng Wen's younger brother?"
The man leaned against the car door with one arm, his shirt sleeves rolled up to his elbows. The muscles in his arms strained against the fabric.
Through the man's slightly open collar, Cheng Yang caught sight of extensive tattoos.
The man looked the skinny, tall boy up and down. The boy's face was full of wariness.
"I'm an old acquaintance of your brother's. From now on, call me Uncle Lang."
Cheng Yang lowered his eyes and obediently murmured, "Mm." He crushed the cigarette pack in his hand and secretly tossed it into the grass.
2.
Everyone in S City knew Meng Yuanlang, a business tycoon with many men under his command who had spent years operating in the gray areas. Then, all of a sudden, a white-haired boy appeared at his side.
At first, people speculated wildly. They guessed the boy with the fluffy curls was Meng Yuanlang's illegitimate son, recently brought home from somewhere.
The boy was tall and slender, looking fragile and breakable.
Several years later, Cheng Yang, now an adult, appeared before the public again.
"Have you heard? Meng Yuanlang was gravely injured in a revenge attack by an enemy, and no one knows where he is," said Bystander A.
"...The Meng family's company is on the brink of collapse. At this point, all they can do is push their adopted son out as a shield," said Bystander B, shaking their head with regret.
Under everyone's gaze, the handsome young man effortlessly put the media who had come for a show in their place.
After the banquet ended, the young man made his way to the villa's basement as if he knew the place by heart.
The man rumored to be missing was perfectly unharmed, leaning against the headboard and reading a book.
Seeing the untouched bowl of hot porridge on the low table, Cheng Yang's calm expression finally cracked.
"Why aren't you eating? Don't you like it?"
The young man smiled warmly, just as he always had.
Looking at the ungrateful whelp he'd raised, Meng Yuanlang felt his head throb and his chest tighten.
He should have thrown the bowl of porridge at the young man, but he couldn't bring himself to do it.
This was the child he'd raised with such care.
Every part of him had grown according to his preferences.
"I can't believe I once thought you were a little lamb I could mold however I pleased."
As it turned out, he was a wolf in sheep's clothing.
A seemingly innocent, two-faced top x a hyper-masculine big shot bottom
[Reader's Guide]

2. Fictional ABO setting, AA romance.
3. There is a twelve-year age gap. The top is fifteen when he first appears, and the bottom is twenty-seven.
4. The bottom has no romantic feelings before the protagonist reaches adulthood. They are not related by blood, and they are not listed in the same household register when they become a couple.
5. A sweet romance, with some bittersweet angst in the middle.
