Lou Zhanxun spun his knife in a neat flourish, then plunged it into the table with a swift, decisive motion.
The recorder sitting across from him trembled as they shakily wrote down a line.
"And then?"
"If I remember correctly, they're seven and a half now." Lou Zhanxun smiled faintly.
"Now the apocalypse is here. As Patient Zero, all I can say is, you should be grateful I still have some faith in humanity."
"If he weren't here, I wouldn't mind taking everyone down with me."

Wayward youth Lou Zhanxun was sent to prison. In his fourth year at the Sea Hare Island Prison, the apocalypse broke out, and he finally regained his freedom.
To celebrate his new lease on life, he grabbed a gun in each hand and decided to give society a proper thank-you. As he escaped the isolated island, he ran into a special forces team that had come on a mission and unexpectedly become trapped there.
Lou Zhanxun (glances at the prison guard uniform he stole) (puts away his pistol) (puts on a helpless, delicate act): You might not believe this, but I've always been in poor health.
The special forces team's supposedly iron-blooded, merciless captain raised an eyebrow. "If that's the case, why not come with us? I'll protect you."
And so the two of them began their journey across the apocalypse.
A story about a dangerously unhinged seme pretending to be harmless, following his sweetheart all over the world, and eventually devouring him too.
