Recently, though, he's been caught up in a series of paranormal events that modern science can't explain. In short, he's been haunted, and whatever it is has latched on to him.

Xie Fuqing was thoroughly frustrated. He visited every major psychiatric hospital and Taoist temple and church in the city, trying both scientific and superstitious remedies, but nothing worked. In the end, he gave up fighting it.

After all, apart from being a bit of a jerk, he hadn't done anything else to deserve this. He couldn't think of anyone who hated him so much they'd come after him even after death.

Then that very night, a ghost pinned him down. The next morning, he woke up with an aching back and waist, his body covered in overlapping red and purple finger marks. The bloody bite marks on his chest were neat and regular, and looked incredibly familiar.

Going from a strict top to a half-and-half, Xie Fuqing scowled at his reflection for ages, but couldn't figure anything out.

His gut told him that whoever had broken into his home, risking a trespassing charge just to fuck him, had to be an ex who still couldn't get over him.

The problem was, all his exes were pretty, foolish, delicate little strict bottoms. He'd heard of turning a straight guy gay, but never of a bottom turning a top into one. What the hell???

Xie Fuqing couldn't believe it.

Xie Fuqing couldn't make heads or tails of it.

Xie Fuqing gritted his teeth as he wiped at the red marks on his body. Then he caught sight of a layer of white mist appearing out of nowhere on the mirror, as if someone had breathed on it.

Then a line of writing appeared: Senior, which ex's name were you just thinking of?

There was only one ex-boyfriend who called him that: a pretty junior who'd briefly dated Xie Fuqing during his third year of college.

But then he died in an accident.

This year marked the seventh year since his death.

[Bonus Scene]

One peaceful, sunny afternoon, after everything had finally settled down.

Xie Fuqing was sprawled on the sofa playing a game, while Zhu Genglan rested his head on Xie Fuqing's lap, holding a jewelry magazine.

As he browsed, Zhu Genglan suddenly turned his head, rubbed his cheek against Xie Fuqing's lower belly, and raised a page of the magazine in front of him, blocking the game screen. "Senior, what kind of ring do you like?"

Xie Fuqing saw a feature on a diamond ring brand he'd already bought more than half the collection from, one that claimed to be "for the one and only person in your life." His eyelids started twitching.

His mind raced. In a moment of desperation, he looked into Zhu Genglan's eyes and said tenderly, "I love you for all my life, ring by ring."

"..." Zhu Genglan closed the magazine, his voice unbelievably gentle. "Senior, that's kind of cheesy."

Chu Nianxue × Liang Jingcheng

When it came to being confessed to, Liang Jingcheng had more experience than he did giving a presentation on study methods.

Following the usual routine, after someone confessed to him, he was supposed to react with surprise, gratitude, regret, and then a gentle rejection, followed by a reasonable and heartfelt explanation: "Our main priority right now is to focus on studying."

That whole series of moves was enough to win over almost any girl.

Why almost?

First, after Liang Jingcheng turned Chu Nianxue down for the first time in their second year of high school, Chu Nianxue still kept giving him love letters. In just half a month, the letters had piled up to a fist's thickness.

Liang Jingcheng had tried every kind of gentle and harsh persuasion, but the guy showed no sign of giving up. He even blushed when Liang Jingcheng scolded him, twirling the edge of the bow at his collar with his fingers, as though Liang Jingcheng had just said something as romantic as a vow of eternal love.

Second, Chu Nianxue was a guy.

1. Chapter 11 has a dungeon arc! It's very short and ends in Chapter 19.

2. Before dating the top, the bottom was a top. The top is a virgin. No role reversal.

3. Lots of made-up headcanons, a lighthearted style, and nonsense throughout. Please don't overthink it. Everything serves the plot.

6. Please note the love-hate relationship tag. Any scenes where the top kills the bottom or the bottom kills the top are necessary for the plot. They love each other so much!

7. To avoid misunderstandings, I'll say this upfront: both leads have lean, toned builds. Slim in clothes, with some muscle underneath! Muscular, average-built, dark-skinned, rough, and paternal types are absolutely not allowed. That's all.
