A Student Who Doesn't Want to Be a Great Sage Isn't a Good Student [Genshin Impact]

The main story is complete, and bonus chapters are ongoing.

(70% of the story is paywalled, with a 72-hour delay.)

Jiang Zhi is a half-human, half-adeptus beast from Liyue. Her only reason for studying at the Akademiya is to become the Grand Sage! Become the Grand Sage! Become the damn Grand Sage!

But on her road to making a name for herself, cutting through every obstacle, she unfortunately ran into a roadblock: "some sea cucumber."

The first time her fellow disciple "some sea cucumber" met her, he sneered at her friendly overtures and thought nothing of them. Jiang Zhi swore: "The east bank of the river may be down for thirty years, and the west bank for thirty years. Never bully a young man for being poor! One day, I'll crush that sea cucumber under my foot!" So she cozied up to the Grand Sage, only for him to be brought down by "some sea cucumber" pulling a few strings.

Jiang Zhi: ??? Damn sea cucumber, you and I are enemies for life!

Even worse, those blind fools at the Akademiya wanted to elect that sea cucumber as the new Grand Sage.

Jiang Zhi's take: A conspiracy! It's all the sea cucumber's conspiracy!

She started making friends with the sea cucumber's opponents wherever she could, determined to bring him down!

But then "some sea cucumber" said: "I nominate Jiang Zhi for Grand Sage."

Jiang Zhi: ...What kind of new conspiracy is this?

(Little skit: The golden-haired, handsome, airheaded senior disciple: "Why are you always picking on your junior? What's in it for you?"

The sharp-tongued, lonely, green sea cucumber: "Don't you think it's hilarious to watch her hopping around like a monkey when she gets mad?")

1. The story is mainly set in Sumeru, but characters from other nations will appear.

2. I don't know whether foreigners can become Grand Sage in Sumeru. If they can't, consider it my own setting.

3. There are plenty of one-sided crushes, but the heroine only cares about becoming Grand Sage and doesn't notice any of them.

4. The heroine is basically a goofball, so don't expect too much from her intelligence. This isn't a political scheming story, just comedy.

5. Because of the heroine's personality, she'll get put in her place quite a bit. She may seem like the group punching bag, but she's actually the group's favorite. Still, if you really don't want to see the heroine suffer, read at your own risk.

6. The blurb was screenshotted and saved on October 8, 2024.

Coming Soon: Don't Wake the Vampire in the Basement

A young countess whose family has fallen on hard times discovers a coffin in her basement by chance. The coffin is so ornate that she even considers prying off the jewels to sell them.

Unfortunately, fate plays a cruel joke on her. When the coffin opens, there's no treasure inside, only a monster. Her life changes from that moment on, and a brand-new world unfolds before her.

In that world of vampires, she has no choice but to depend on the devil she woke, letting his icy palm brush across her trembling face.

1. There will be a forceful pursuit, nonconsensual love, and a male-rivalry showdown. All male leads are sexually inexperienced.

2. The heroine is a delicate beauty and can't become strong.
