What Should I Do About My Senior Sister Always Touching My Tail?

Luo Ying transmigrated into a book and became a villainous fox spirit hiding in the Upright Purity Sect and causing trouble.

Thinking of the original host's tragic fate, having her tendons ripped out and skin peeled off after the sect discovered her, Luo Ying decided she couldn't care less about that stupid spy mission. She just wanted to get out of there.

Unfortunately, the sect had recently tightened security. It was hard to get in, and getting out was just as difficult. Even if she wanted to sneak away, she couldn't.

So on her first day after transmigrating into the book, Luo Ying resolutely submitted an application to leave the sect, determined to nip the problem in the bud.

Unfortunately, the sect leader was away. Senior Sister Chu Yun, who was handling affairs in rotation, said Luo Ying could wait until the sect leader returned, then asked why she wanted to leave.

Chu Yun asked in confusion, "Junior Sister, you've only been in the sect for a month. Why do you want to leave already? Is there something wrong with the sect? Is someone bullying you?"

"How about this? I just accepted an away mission today and will be leaving in three days. If you're really curious, why not come along? I'll protect you."

Luo Ying: ...No, I really just want to leave the sect!

No matter what, three days later Luo Ying obediently packed her bags.

Luo Ying was taking it in stride. It wasn't often she got to leave the sect. If she couldn't leave just yet, she could always wait for the right moment and sneak away while they were out!

But then

At the inn, Senior Sister booked only one room, saying their travel funds were limited.

In the evening, when Luo Ying said she wanted to go for a walk, Senior Sister, who had been resting, said, "I'll go with you."

Even when she went to the outhouse at night, she somehow "ran into" Senior Sister right outside.

Something was off.

Luo Ying was sure something was off.

She suspected Senior Sister had figured out who she was and was keeping a close eye on her to stop her from escaping!

So, in the middle of the night, Luo Ying resolved to sneak away!

Unfortunately, the person beside her was a terrible sleeper and was holding her tight.

With no other choice, Luo Ying decided to take a risk.

But the very next moment after she transformed into her true form, someone scooped her up.

Luo Ying looked up in shock and met a pair of shining eyes in the dark.

Her senior sister seemed to have been waiting for this moment. She smiled brightly. "Junior Sister... You wouldn't want anyone else to discover your identity, would you?"

Only then did Luo Ying realize she'd been tricked. Her voice caught in her throat. "What do you want?"

Her senior sister replied with a delighted, "Then let me pet your tail!"

Possibly a goofy senior sister who's sweet on the outside and scheming underneath x a junior sister who gets prickly around her(?)

1. This is my first time writing something like this. The language is fairly modern, and I've made up a lot of details, so there may be quite a few plot holes. I recommend reading without overthinking it. If it bothers you, please stop reading.

3. There may be quite a few internet memes and old jokes (x). If that bothers you, feel free to steer clear.

4. The book she transmigrates into is a romance novel. It's not an all-female setting, but the original male and female leads don't get much focus. This is mainly a transmigration setup, with the focus on everyday slice-of-life stuff. (If that's not for you, please stop reading! I've already put this in the warnings, so if I still see people criticizing it, all I can say is that you chose to ignore the warnings and click anyway.)

5. I'm writing this for fun, so feel free to read it casually too. Please don't offer writing advice. The author is sensitive, so if you don't like the story, just stop reading. Any comments hostile to the author will be reflected right back.

A passing bee angrily stung her. "You stupid bear! You're stealing my honey again!"

The bear and the bee suddenly started chasing each other, and the whole scene descended into chaos.

The silver wolf bared her fangs to intimidate her. "Human, if you don't want to be eaten, you'd better come with me!"

As soon as she finished speaking, the golden tiger beside her kicked her hard. "Don't bully the weak human!"

Since they couldn't decide, the panda in charge suggested, "Why not let the human stay with each family for a few days before deciding?"

So the beastfolk started arguing over who would get to take her in first!

Tu Yixing: Stop fighting, you guys! (Makes a hand gesture like Er Kang.)
