After being frustrated at both work and in love, Gu Shiming recently logged into Honor of Kings again to vent, despite not having touched the game for over a year.
That day, she was in a Platinum-ranked match. She thought it would be just another ordinary ranked game.
That was until her random support silently took her level-four minion wave while she was dead, then took the healing pack under her own tower with half health and a full mana bar.
Gu Shiming finally couldn't take it anymore. She tapped the support's profile picture and turned on her mic.
.
"Support, do you even know how to play?"
"I won't even complain about you showing up late to help in that last fight without pinging, but how could you just take my entire level-four wave and eat my healing pack?"
"Why don't you sell your support item and let me support you instead? Hmm?"
.
She thought they were about to have a heated argument over voice chat.
Then, a moment later, she heard a girl's soft, sweet voice, tinged with hesitation, come through the team voice chat.
"S-sorry..."
"I only started playing this game a few days ago, so I'm still not very good..."
"I-I'll be more careful next time!"
They were both girls, so Gu Shiming couldn't bring herself to say anything too harsh.
.
After the match ended, Gu Shiming received a party invitation from their support.
Impatient, she rejected it twice, but finally accepted the girl's request on the third try.
"Why'd you invite me?"
The girl replied in a timid voice, "C-couldn't I want to play with you?"
Gu Shiming rubbed her tired eyes and said coolly, "I'm tired today. Maybe next time. I'm leaving."
.
"Wait! Don't go yet!"
"Hm?"
"Um, I just wanted to say... before you leave, could you insult me one more time?"
Just as Gu Shiming thought she must have misheard, the girl on the other end added bashfully, "C-could you say something in a really sarcastic, superior, and tsundere sort of way...?"
.
Gu Shiming fell silent for a moment, then offered her most sincere greeting: "...Are you out of your mind?"
To her surprise, the girl replied with an especially excited, "Yes! That's exactly the vibe!"
*
Just as Gu Shiming never imagined she would meet a "lunatic" in a game who would chase after her every day, begging her to insult her, Zhao Shiyun never imagined she would meet a random teammate in a game whose voice sounded just like the voice actor she was a fan of.
Until she eventually found out...
Huh, h-huh?
The voice actor she's a fan of seems to be that random teammate herself...?!

This blurb was probably written on a whim, so it may still need changes.
There shouldn't be any S/M content at all, TVT. The romantic frustration might be about someone you like suddenly getting into a relationship or turning you down, or something like that (probably).
Probably a story about a wage-slave voice actor x a socially anxious game artist (probably).
If not, I'll come back and change the above.
Theme: World peace, don't insult people for no reason (seriously)
