Swallowing Needles

Ping Zheng has someone she likes.

But when that person was framed and persecuted, she knew the truth and didn't speak up.

She watched coldly,

then helped trample him into the dirt.

In Ping Zheng's eyes, you get the things you want by stealing, taking them by force, or scheming.

Only when the other person was brought down into the mud could someone as ordinary as her hope to get someone who seemed far beyond her reach.

Sure enough,

when she put on a kind face and gently offered her hand,

the frightened, helpless, despairing person finally looked up at her.

Ping Zheng was satisfied with how things turned out.

Unfortunately, before she had her fill of playing with him, he discovered the truth.

Chi Yue once gave someone his whole heart, only to be played for a fool.

It ended in a humiliating breakup.

With no love left and no hatred either, Chi Yue thought he had moved on.

But when they met again,

when he saw those cold, damp eyes once more,

he knew the other person was doing it on purpose,

but still couldn't control his racing heart.

He kept telling himself that a person shouldn't sink so low.

*A story about a twisted, love-starved person gradually growing up

*Those who toy with people's true feelings deserve to swallow a thousand needles
