After a Night of Passion with the Gorgeous Senior I Had a Crush On

At sixteen, Ji Shuangxu fell in love with her senior, Yuan Shuyi.

She wrote her a love letter, but never managed to give it to her.

Yuan Shuyi came from a wealthy family and was four years older. The two of them were worlds apart, like parallel lines that would never meet.

She never imagined that, years later, on a summer evening, she and Yuan Shuyi would share a bed.

That day, Yuan Shuyi gently traced her nose, her voice seductive and alluring. "How about we each get what we need from this?"

Their relationship skirted the edge of forbidden territory, and it was never meant to last.

On graduation day, Ji Shuangxu finally steeled herself and asked to break up.

The ember on Yuan Shuyi's fingertip glowed and dimmed as she exhaled a ring of smoke. She still carried herself like she was above everyone else, and her voice was even colder than when they first met. "Don't regret this."

Yuan Shuyi had been the center of attention since birth. Arrogant and dignified, she never gave in or bowed her head.

From the moment they parted, Ji Shuangxu never expected to have a future with Yuan Shuyi.

She never imagined that Yuan Shuyi would later come looking for her, pleading, "Could you turn around and look at me just once more?"

Ji Shuangxu thought Yuan Shuyi was acting on a whim.

Until she learned that Yuan Shuyi had knelt in the family shrine all night.

Until she saw the letter Yuan Shuyi had written in reply to her sixteen-year-old self.
