The Widower

She married a billionaire she had known for three months, only to die under mysterious circumstances half a month after their wedding.

After becoming a ghost, she drifted around, searching for the cause of her death.

Ever since she died, her husband had worn a heavy black overcoat and carried a black umbrella, mourning her year-round. A handsome, brooding widower, he always carried an air of danger.

He had trained at medical school and was once an outstanding doctor, with exceptional skill at dissection. He was so calm and rational that he could easily fool everyone. He was immensely wealthy, and dealing with his wife's death was as easy as snapping his fingers. He also had a sinister basement that he never let anyone enter.

Everyone said he was the one who killed her.

Until one still, late night, she drifted into that basement.

She saw her husband take off his glasses.

Holding her photograph, he wept, one tear after another.
