Scheming, sweet-talking death-seeking bottom x Tsundere, protective, stubborn top
Ning Rufeng ran into a blind fortune-teller on his way to catch ghosts.
The blind man said, "I see black energy swirling around you. A calamity awaits you on this journey. I have a talisman here..."
Ning Rufeng poked the black energy around himself. "Oh, ghost energy. I raised it. But your fortune-telling is pretty accurate. I'm going to cause a calamity."
The blind man grabbed his leg. "Take me with you, boss!"
In the end, Ning Rufeng brought the clingy blind man along.
The blind man claimed he could help Ning Rufeng find the person he was looking for.
Later, Ning Rufeng discovered that the blind man wasn't just a con artist, but also sickly, coughing up blood from time to time and looking like he didn't have long to live.
Fine, he could show a little mercy now and then and protect the old, weak, sick, and disabled.
Besides, the blind man was rather handsome.
Until the battle at Wuming Mountain, when the frail blind man who couldn't fend for himself stepped in front of him. With a sweep of his bamboo staff, he drove back a horde of ghosts, then turned and smiled at him.
"If I can't find that person, how about I give myself to you instead?"
Xie Buyu had taken a liking to an idiot.
He had unusual spiritual meridians, carried ghost energy, and was easy to fool.
First, Xie Buyu tricked him into footing the bill, then tricked him into being a hired fighter.
In the end, still not satisfied, he wanted to trick him into falling in love with him.
But anything gained through deception was bound to be false.
Watching countless streams of ghost energy pierce Ning Rufeng's chest, Xie Buyu slowly closed his eyes and lied to him one last time:
"Everything that came before was nothing but an illusion. You were the one who gave your heart away."
