(Because Erjiu wrote another story about a younger disciple and his teacher, titled Jun Mo Ci on their profile)
"You told Chenxiang everything?" Wanluo asked quietly.
Yang Jian nodded and sat down against the stone wall, finally feeling a little at ease. "Wanluo, from now on, the world is yours. Go wherever you like, and live free."
His mother, Sanniang, and Wanluo. Like the Black Bird pinned beneath the mountain, they had all borne too many responsibilities that were never theirs, and suffered too many sins they never deserved.
Wanluo turned to look at him, her gaze distant.
"Erlang, you're free too." She raised a finger and pointed at his heart.
Yang Jian smiled, finally at peace with the world.
He wondered if there was still time for him to become a good uncle.
