Western Crossover: How Did the Eastern Divine Beast Come to Rule Gotham?

Bai Miaomiao is the only child of the divine beast Bai Ze and a nine-tailed fox. As a beloved child of the Primordial World, this little mixed-blood fluff ball is about to come of age. Her parents, aunts, uncles, grandmas, and grandpas can't bear the thought of her being struck by lightning, so together they send her to a carefully selected minor world.

Bai Ze, her dad: “Miaomiao, have fun in the minor world. If you get bored, help the chosen one there grind a few monsters and build up some merit.”

Her nine-tailed fox mom glares at Bai Ze. “Are you crazy? Is our Miaomiao even as big as one of your hands? What do you expect a little fluff ball to do?”

A cat ball no bigger than a palm... Bai Ze looks at his wife's showy, sky-shading nine tails, then at his own palm, as big as a mountain, and silently says nothing.

Gotham's urban legend has just finished its routine patrol when he nearly gets knocked over by the chairman of his League.

A certain Man of Steel turns into a walking pager. “B-B-B, take a look! This poor cat escaped from Luthor's lab. He must have genetically modified it. It even has nine tails!”

The Dark Knight gives him a cold look. “Then you should contact animal protection. More importantly, I'm concerned about what Luthor will do next now that his test subject has escaped.”

The Man of Steel: “Um... he might not do anything. The cat knocked him unconscious. It looks like he has fractures in his skull, legs, and several places in his arms. He'll be on bed rest for at least a month.”

The Dark Knight's gaze falls on the tiny ball of fluff, no bigger than his palm. Calmly, he says, “Perhaps you have nowhere else to go. Would you be interested in a job guarding Arkham?”

The big blue guy lets out a piercing shriek. “No hiring underage children!”

Bai Miaomiao looks at the thick aura of fortune surrounding the two men, then happily settles back onto the shoulder of the man who found her. Her nine short, plump, fluffy tails sway back and forth as she rubs the clever tuft at the tip of her ear against his curls.

Before You Read:

1. Pairing is with Superman. This is a story about an alien rescue dog and an Eastern divine cat beast teaming up to save the world.

2. Firmly committed to socialist values, reforming uncivilized behavior in the superhero world, and building a new Eastern cultivation system. Director Miaomiao has a long road ahead.

4. That's right, no spirits are allowed to become immortal after the founding of the country, but every divine beast from the Primordial World has an official position. The "Classic of Mountains and Seas" is actually a roll call of the Eastern Cultivation Association.

5. This is my own setting. Please don't nitpick.
