Taking Good Care of Mihawk Again Today

Spoiler warnings: OOC, altered timeline, and a fluffy little romance made up as I go. Update schedule: Main story complete. I'll try to update the extras daily, though updates may be every other day. Updates at midnight. The first time Mihawk saw Stella, all he could think was that she was incredibly pale, even her eyelashes were white. She also liked to come out at night. No wonder the villagers called her a “ghost” and kept their distance. Yet this strange woman was the one who saved him. Day One, Estella: “Mihawk, let me bandage you.” Mihawk looked at his hand wrapped in bandages. “...Move. I'll do it myself.” Day Three, Estella: “Mihawk, you need to eat something nutritious if you want to get better faster.” Mihawk looked at the kitchen in ruins and her bleeding hand. “Move. I'll do it.” Day Five, She said she wanted to grow some vegetables to help nourish him. Mihawk looked at the soil, dug up into a complete mess. “...” Day Six, Day Seven, Day Eight... Mihawk, who gradually took over the laundry, cooking, farming, and housework: “...” Mihawk thought that Estella had helped him a great deal, so before leaving, he planned to get her life in order and leave her some money. But he never imagined that on the very night he left, she would die, charged with harboring a criminal. Mihawk touched her cold body and clenched his fists, his nails digging deep into his palms. At the same time, a tiny, blood-soaked Stella crawled out from beneath the bed. Unable to see who was in front of her, she asked cautiously, “Is... is that Mihawk?” Mihawk placed her bloodied hand against his face, letting her trace his features little by little. “...I'm back.” Estella: “I'm going to train Mihawk to become the world's greatest swordsman!” Mihawk: “Mm. Eat.” Estella: “Mihawk, why are you drinking again?” Mihawk: “Mm. Come eat.” Estella: “Mihawk, are you going through a rebellious phase? You used to do everything I said.” Mihawk: “Mm.” Estella: “Then we're not going to the hospital today?” Mihawk: “No.” Spoiler-free guide: 1. Mindless, everyday fluff. The pairing is Hawkeye Mihawk. Nothing about complicated political stuff like the Celestial Dragons or the Revolutionary Army (I said it loudly!). 2. It differs from the original, and the timeline has been changed. It's very OOC; I just want some mindless fluffy romance. 3. The heroine has albinism, One Piece version (low vision + cannot be exposed to light), and a splitting ability. (All based on imagination.) 4. More to come if I think of anything. Theme: Everyone deserves to be loved.
