The Right Way to Charm a Knight

Sephora Vanessa is a woman with few ambitions. Her greatest hobbies are collecting gemstones and getting close to beautiful people. She’s been around the flower garden without letting a single petal stick to her. Until one day, she saved a battle-worn blond man who was perfect for her tastes. She fell for him. He was everything Vanessa wanted: a gentleman, gentle, handsome... But it was a shame he wasn’t like that with her alone. Her heart died. Still, she lived by the principle that you shouldn’t pass up a good opportunity, so with “both parties’ consent,” she had her way with him and ran as soon as they were done. Sanji, waking up afterward: M-Miss Vanessa, did we... Miss Vanessa? Vanessa: Time to make a run for it. The second time, she ran into that perfect-for-her battle-worn blond man again. Her dead heart stirred, but only a little. Living by the principle that you shouldn’t pass up a good opportunity, she enjoyed a good feel and ran off again afterward. Sanji: So... is that the kind of person Miss Vanessa likes? Vanessa: Hmm? No, I like devoted men. The third time, she ran into him yet again, and he was battle-worn yet again. There was no need to keep sending her a battered man every time. This time, she decided that actions spoke louder than feelings. She wanted to see him wearing a suit. She wanted to see him cooking. She wanted to see him smile for her, get angry for her, cry for her... She wanted to see him jealous to the point of exploding for her, while holding himself back and not daring to show it... She wanted to see his eyes filled with nothing but her. Vanessa, with a sinister smile: Yes, just like that. Come to me on your own, get jealous for me, cry for me, fall apart for me, until your eyes hold nothing but me. Sanji: M-Miss Vanessa... I’m sorry, but I really can’t stand it anymore... (crying) Vanessa: Oh no... He looks even better when he cries. Content Warnings: 1. Sanji is the love interest. He may be out of character (in this version, he has blue eyes, which might count as a headcanon). 2. A scientist heroine who flirts without taking responsibility and sweet-talks every handsome man x a lovestruck Sanji who sweet-talks ladies but stumbles over his words around the heroine. 3. The heroine is an original character native to the world, a certain country’s princess, but she does research. Her Devil Fruit abilities are all based on my imagination. She isn’t very strong in combat, but she has powerful connections and eight hundred tricks up her sleeve. 4. She doesn’t join the Straw Hats. She’s simply traveling with them and flirting with men.
