The Grand Tutor Somehow Entered the Tyrant's Harem After His Death

Entrusted by the late emperor to raise the new ruler, Zhang Chiheng, despite his frail health, took Shangguan Tianzong from a seven-year-old child who was afraid to sleep alone at night and raised him into an emperor with real power who commanded the court.

Once Shangguan Tianzong had secured his rule, Zhang Chiheng retired from public life, ready to die in peace.

Who could have guessed he would open his eyes again?

He hadn't come back to life. Instead, he had woken up in the body of a favored consort in the imperial harem.

Utterly absurd!

But that wasn't even the most absurd part.

Zhang Chiheng had been reborn eight years after his death, and he could never have imagined that in just eight short years, the wise and diligent young emperor he remembered would become a tyrant everyone feared.

His temper had grown vicious and volatile, he spoke in a sarcastic, barbed manner, and he had become obsessed with Daoist cultivation and alchemy. Worst of all, he loved opposing the officials at court... If this continued, the empire would soon be ruined!

Zhang Chiheng was practically furious enough to die all over again.

But he couldn't die. He couldn't stand by and watch Shangguan Tianzong carry on in such a benighted way until he truly became a ruler who lost his country.

He wanted to set Shangguan Tianzong back on the right path, but he was no longer Zhang Chiheng, the Grand Tutor. He was now Lan Yu, a favored consort.

Would he really have to become a seductive favorite and pander to the emperor?

Before Zhang Chiheng could convince himself to set aside his shame and seduce his former student, the tyrant took the initiative and clung to him. He just kept acting erratically.

One moment, he would say that a mere consort didn't deserve the face of his beloved Grand Tutor, then threaten to execute him if they met again. The next, he would break his own word and show up to see him anyway.

One moment, he would angrily threaten to confine him and put him under house arrest. The next, he would run over himself, sighing and pretending to be pitiful.

One moment, he would accuse Zhang Chiheng of meddling in state affairs from the harem and harboring ill intentions. The next, he would ask for his advice and have him review official documents in his place...

Zhang Chiheng went from bewildered to numb, watching him carry on with cold indifference.

Shangguan Tianzong: I may be a lunatic who meddles in both the court and the harem, speaks in barbed sarcasm, and constantly contradicts himself, but I'm still the Grand Tutor's good student.

Shangguan Tianzong: But now the Grand Tutor is back. My normal personality has reclaimed the high ground, and I'll never go mad again.

Zhang Chiheng: Really? I don't believe you.

Premise: Work together and create another miracle.
