Shumu, a very beautiful slime monster.

Among the Erebus, Shumu was adored from birth, beautiful from head to the tips of his toes. His diet was different from that of the other monsters: he ate no people, only grass, and spent every day crouching on the ground, nibbling grass shoots. One was how to coax the child into eating a little more.

The other was how to get all those monsters outside, who were gazing longingly and asking for his hand, to get lost!

Then Shumu accidentally got swept into a disastrously unfinished and unhinged apocalypse novel. Mistaken for a universally hated aberrant, he belatedly realized he could no longer be a useless monster ornament who ate his fill and waited to die. Sob.

Shumu had just one thing to say about it:

Luo Linfen was the Dragon-Ao Tian male lead of a disastrously unfinished, unhinged novel. The author gave him a humble background, then an aberration level so high it nearly broke the scale, making him the most powerful character in the story. The author made the apocalypse base regard him as its savior, then killed him off carelessly after just twenty-something chapters.

That crazy author wrote it like this: One day, Luo Linfen got up and looked in the mirror, then was slain by his own handsome face, which no one could possibly be worthy of.

Supposedly, the author won five million in the lottery and went traveling around the world, leaving the novel unfinished.

But his absentee author going around the world did nothing to stop Luo Linfen from becoming, as the story had decreed, a killing machine who knew nothing but slaughter. He killed aberrants by the hundreds in the apocalypse, without batting an eye. Everyone praised him to his face, then hid from the mad dog behind his back.

Then one day, a reborn person appeared. Luo Linfen did not care that the novel was unfinished, but the reborn person did, and, furious that he was wasting his potential, ruthlessly snatched away his protagonist's halo.

Luo Linfen was dazed and confused, feeling as if a piece of his heart had gone missing. The protagonist's halo? He did not care.

The day he was driven out of the base, covered in wounds, he sensed that his death was near. He brought a mirror with him and silently waited to die in a corner.

A warm, soft young man raised his head from the corner. His dark tentacles were waving wildly, each one clutching a fistful of bright green grass.

Feeling his aberration level suppressed by the other man's tentacles with just the lightest touch, Luo Linfen thought in a daze: This is my wife!

After that day, a weak, pretty ornament appeared at the Dragon-Ao Tian protagonist's side. No one expected this young man to become Luo Linfen's one and only weakness.
