Bai Jie Says I Wrote About Being Reborn, Not Transmigrating

Bai Akutagawa was reborn, along with Black Atsushi.

But not completely.

Leaving aside the small matter of Atsushi, who had been reborn alongside him, going missing, Bai Akutagawa knew something had gone wrong when he saw that his own body hadn't changed at all, then watched a smaller version of himself wobble to his feet and ask expressionlessly, "Who are you?"

It seemed that he and the tiger had somehow ended up in the main story world of Bungo Stray Dogs.

So Bai Akutagawa, who had read through the main story of Bungo Stray Dogs with the help of the Book, began a brand-new, wondrous life of raising a child, determined to keep his counterpart from becoming a hardcore Dazai fan.

The Book said, "Since you can take care of a child, surely it wouldn't hurt to save the world while you're at it?"

Reader's note:

The alternate-timeline Akutagawa and Atsushi pairing is romantic, with no preference between the two. The main-story Akutagawa and Atsushi have no romantic pairing.

Please note that my version of Bai Akutagawa is an all-around capable character who's been through thick and thin!

The plot can be summed up as an alternate-timeline New Double Black childcare story from Bai Akutagawa's perspective (?).

Mainly Bungo Stray Dogs, with a little Jujutsu Kaisen mixed in. There may also be a few references to mystery novels. I'll mention them when they come up!

Updates will be slow. This is just a self-indulgent story written to fulfill my wish to see Bai Akutagawa raise Black Akutagawa. Updates will appear at random.
