Song Jiayi stole a man's car at the airport. She never expected him to come after her in person to return her work ID, only to be fawned over and treated like royalty by her client.

He was the one she'd pined for over the past ten years.

Pei Xu had always been the golden boy, from childhood on. The only time he ever lost was when his best friend beat him to confessing to Song Jiayi.

When they met again, Song Jiayi was single. He thought that meant it was finally his turn.

Song Jiayi got drunk, and her male boss offered to take her home. But Pei Xu arrived in time to stop him. The handsome man's expression darkened, and the hand pinning the boss's was tense with prominent veins.

"Who are you?" the boss demanded, displeased.

"Song Jiayi's partner," Pei Xu lied.

In the car, Pei Xu tried to buckle Song Jiayi's seat belt, but she pushed him away. Poking him in the chest, she said fiercely, "Pei Xu, I've liked you for over ten years. Did you know that, or have you been pretending not to notice all this time?"

At that moment, an overwhelming rush of love filled his world. He pulled her close and kissed her without hesitation.
