Su Weiming was born with an eye that could see into the netherworld. Every night, he could use it to see things he was never meant to see.

Fortunately, his family had been fortune-tellers for generations. His grandfather's generation had calculated that he was born under an unlucky star, so they gave him the deliberately lowly name "Weiming" to ensure he would live safely and smoothly to the age of twenty-one.

Then one day, an unknown force abducted him into a horror world of challenges. Only then did he learn that his ability let him see clues invisible to the other players.

And so their ill-fated bond began.

The EA9 Operations Division's System assigns missions and matches teams. Complete a game instance, and you can return to the real world. The division is split into four sectors: Zi, Wu, Mao, and You.

Su Weiming belongs to the Third Team.

And the legend told only among those within the division, about the very first Third Team:

More than twenty years ago, the entire team was wiped out in the You Sector.

In the end, the unknown world invaded and merged with reality. Su Weiming saw that the boss at the source of the instance's negative core had a face identical to Ning Chenjiu's. Its body shifted from illusory to real as it slowly walked toward him.
