He Waits by the Bridge of Helplessness

The moment Huang Anxin opened her eyes, she was in the underworld, being toyed with by wandering souls and ghosts. She'd also offended a ghost whose years of death were nearly as long as human history.

Huang Anxin was terrified.

They said he was an unspeakable presence throughout the underworld, and any ghost who angered him wouldn't live to see the next day.

No one knew why he'd stood by the Bridge of Helplessness for over four thousand years.

P.S. An immersive story in the Follow Me Into My Dreams series ^_^.

Theme: Those who were let down have something better waiting for them in the future
