Cold-faced, pure-hearted, secretly passionate gong x warm-faced, seductive beauty shou
Yin Qiuji was the most promising junior disciple of the Hehuan Sect in a century. He flirted with countless people, but in order to graduate, he had the audacity to seduce Xu Heqing, the aloof sword cultivator.
Everyone waited for him to come slinking back in disgrace and choose a different graduation target. Instead, he succeeded and became Dao partners with Xu Heqing, with both sects’ blessings.
The cultivation world was in an uproar, lamenting the fall of a sword-cultivator genius.
Yin Qiuji: “...?”
Wasn’t he a genius, too? Did nobody feel sorry for him? He’d have to waste the best years of his life on an ice block!
At first, Yin Qiuji was afraid Xu Heqing would open his eyes and hack him to death. Fortunately, Xu Heqing had money, little to do, and was never home. They only saw each other once a month, when Yin Qiuji had to detoxify him. If he ignored Xu Heqing’s murderous glare, everything was fine.
Later, with his back aching, Yin Qiuji began to suspect that Xu Heqing had let himself be seduced on purpose.

Xu Heqing was the revered eldest senior brother of the Wushang Sect, the leading figure among sword cultivators who followed the merciless Dao. He had severed all ties and cast aside love, cold and heartless, the renowned aloof beauty of the cultivation world.
But one day, he stormed into the Hehuan Sect with kiss marks all over his neck, his face dark as he vowed to hack Yin Qiuji to death for nearly ruining his Dao heart!
But before he could act, he discovered he’d been poisoned, and only Yin Qiuji could cure him.
So, while the Hehuan Sect denounced him as a “faithless man” and a “heartless wretch,” he had no choice but to marry Yin Qiuji.
He knew Yin Qiuji was always full of tricks, but he never imagined he’d be so cruel as to put a love spell on him and control his heartbeat.

A little scene:
One day, Yin Qiuji bought a small bell at the foot of the mountain and casually tied it around his ankle for Xu Heqing to see.
Xu Heqing looked away and chided him. “You shouldn’t be so frivolous in broad daylight.”
That night, the bell rang without stopping.
The next day, Xu Heqing asked for the bell and hung it from his sword tassel.
