New Chinese-Style Monster Roleplay App

Yu Yan got her hands on an adults-only horror role-playing game.

She had to play as monsters, collecting human fear points to unlock the next one.

After thinking for a few seconds, she blindly picked her starting character.

[Congratulations! You have chosen "Unheard Infant" as your starting monster.]

[Welcome to the "Climbing Branches to Reach the Bright Moon" chapter.]

[Raise your monster and fight your way to victory!]

[Climbing Branches to Reach the Bright Moon]

Choose your fate and climb the branches, turn into a golden sparrow, soar to the heights, and bring blessings to the people.

The Bright Moon Tower is piled high with bones. No amount of gold can buy a sparrow that won't be granted.

You are the skin, bones, blood, and flesh of a baby girl, a monster that crawled back from hell.

"Unheard Infant"

[Song and Dance Cannot Outshine Sorrow]

Every branch bears a bright moon sparrow, each one bringing spring.

The scent of night incense startles the furnace; flesh is cooked until the bones grow soft.

A corpse sinks to the bottom of Qionglai Lake, with no one to hear its grief.

You are a woman's resentment, twisted and growing wild, a monster hatched from the lake.

"Nuxilu"

[Swallowing Gold, No Way Out]

Gold from the Yu, silver from the Yue, ten thousand hands weave a world where the people are buried.

Gold, kingfisher feathers, pearls, and jade clatter, while blood, tears, love, and hate are met with smiling songs.

Your blood refines golden liquid; my hands command the world.

You are a sticky, surging desire, a monster that broke free from the heart's chrysalis.

"Aduwu"

[Blood Oath at the Capital's Spectacle of Skulls]

Silver spears, bronze axes, and the beat of the war drum; every strike at the spine earns military merit.

The king drinks the blood of the loyal; the soldiers suck the marrow from their comrades.

Bloodied corpses build a towering tomb, and from its heights, one surveys the bones below.

You are a tower of corpses built to flaunt one's achievements, a monster revived through slaughter.

"Mo Jingguan"

[Kind Daughter, Bless the Years to Come]

Frost and snow slaughter mayflies; spring's arrival mocks the sorrowful.

The green brew boils the hearts of nobles; in the dead of night, they dig deep for gold.

Green mountains hold down the enchanting waters; a kind daughter blesses the years to come.

You are the foundation of a nation, crushing the human heart, a monster born from yellow earth.
