At the end of 2006, on a snowy night, Qin Zhang received a call from Chang Le, her sister who was not related to her by blood.
Chang Le timidly said, "Hello, Auntie. I'm Chang Le, Chang Jie's daughter. Could I please speak to him?"
Qin Zhang replied, "He can't come to the phone. He died last year."
Chang Le told her that her mother had passed away and that her stepfather had been kicking her bedroom door in the middle of the night.
