Awakening

Hong Hu had worshipped Lyudmila Pavlichenko, one of the world's ten greatest snipers, alongside his mother since childhood. He dreamed of becoming a soldier or a police officer when he grew up, but fate pushed him into becoming a doctor instead. Shooting became a hobby, and when he entered competitions, his results were only so-so. After undergoing a minor operation that his classmate said was "nothing dangerous," Hong Hu was getting ready to pack up and retire when a phone call from his high school dean summoned him to save Niu Jiaozhou, his sworn enemy from eleven years ago. "He became a vegetative patient while saving someone. The only way to wake him is to enter the depths of his consciousness." He lay down beside Niu Jiaozhou, put on a brain-computer interface, and entered the depths of Niu Jiaozhou's consciousness. When he opened his eyes again, Hong Hu found himself lying in a swaying carriage. A steam locomotive let out a long whistle, and Grandpa Wang, who had been in the ward upstairs, had suddenly become a young man sitting opposite him, humming a tune. "Marching proudly, heads held high..." Later, Hong Hu discovered that the key to waking a patient was to resolve their regrets in the depths of their consciousness. And Niu Jiaozhou's greatest regret was him. Cross-dressing supermodel top x fair-skinned, beautiful doctor and marksman bottom /Science fiction/So my trip to Dandong to gather material wouldn't go to waste, and with the Olympics coming up, I turned this into a free short story. or2/ Setting Hong Hu is a shooting prodigy good enough to compete at the highest level. He travels through different people's dreams, growing within them while striving to become a world champion outside them. Though he is literally a coward, that doesn't stop him from being an excellent marksman. The bottom's father went to prison for committing a crime, so the bottom cannot take the civil service exam or enlist in the military. But he has a good moral compass and is nothing like his scumbag biological father. Because of his biological father, the bottom cannot apply to the university he wants to attend. The top, wanting to go to the same university as the person he likes, goes and... gets in. The top and bottom got into a fight in high school, but never did anything bad enough to require anyone other than the principal and dean to intervene. The plot comes first, with romance as a secondary focus. Theme: Those who seem to have been knocked unconscious by fate actually possess brave, untamed souls. Don't give up. Wake up and give it another shot.
