Good news: His little brother was still there!

The fact that the entire harem was made up of men was one thing, but none of them knew how to behave. Still, they were more than generous when bribing Su Mian.

After all, he was the favorite of the tyrant emperor!

A little scene:

As the emperor's favorite, Su Mian most often dealt with conflicts among the imperial consorts and helped solve the emperor's problems.

Talented Scholar Lin wept and sniffled as he complained:

"Eunuch Su, why has His Majesty suddenly gone off me? Please help me think of something."

Su Mian: "I have an idea!" (Holding up a finger, lightbulb moment.)

The next day, Talented Scholar Lin cried even harder:

"Eunuch Su, did you take bribes from Noble Consort Wei? His Majesty doesn't like this at all!"

Su Mian: Huh? The tyrant emperor was clearly excited when Lin wore a sheer outfit and bent over to pick up memorials in front of him!

After his family falls on hard times, Song He becomes the kept lover of Shengding Group's vice president, enduring beatings and torment until he can hardly bear it.

After getting his revenge, Song He disappears for three years. When Sheng Yuli finds him with their little one, he shows up at the door carrying a durian.

The little one knocks and orders Sheng Yuli to set the durian down. Gripping a twig, he cries out the moment the door opens: "Daddy, get on your knees!"

Then he tosses the twig aside, throws himself into Song He's arms, and bursts into tears. "Waaah, Papa! I brought Daddy here to apologize!"

After the divorce goes through, they never see each other again.

Until Ji Huaisheng's belly grows bigger and bigger. They run into each other at a banquet, and Ji Huaisheng tries to avoid him. But to his surprise, the normally calm Ji Ran follows him all the way back to his rented apartment.

He says, "Your belly's gotten so big. Have you figured out how you're going to explain it to me?"

Ji Huaisheng falls into thought, then opens his mouth and manages a few words...

"I... could say it's bloating. Would you believe me?"

Obviously, that's a terrible excuse.

After that, Ji Ran seems like a different person. He shamelessly moves into the rented apartment, and even has a perfectly legitimate reason.

"The baby needs an Alpha father's pheromones."

Ji Ran is a very rational Alpha. His rationality is exactly what made him lose Ji Huaisheng, so when he sees Ji Huaisheng standing in front of him with a big belly, he's so excited he could jump for joy.

He can barely manage to zip up after using the bathroom because he's so nervous, yet he still puts on a calm front.

Late one night, he says to Ji Huaisheng...

"You're pregnant, so getting married would be difficult. Why don't you give me a chance?"

He's so calm that he ends up trembling on his knees beside the bed.

But Ji Huaisheng doesn't seem interested in his proposal. He even raises an eyebrow and delivers a cold reply.

"Sorry, ex-husband. I already have a boyfriend."

That's when Ji Ran realizes that he might have to win his husband back...
