Reader's Guide: 1. An alternate-history period story with original worldbuilding. 2. The early story focuses on farming, and later the characters make money by following government policies. The male and female leads won't leave the county to seek opportunities, buy a courtyard house, or become business tycoons. Readers who don't enjoy everyday-life stories should proceed with caution! 3. No personal attacks! Otherwise, I'll bounce them right back with my counterattack technique!
Yang Jixi finally manages to marry the girl he loves, but the very next morning he begins to lose control of his words and actions. Before long, "he" has spent his whole life slaving away for the extended family, dragging his wife and daughters down with him, until the family is destroyed and everyone is ruined.
Only after his death does Yang Jixi learn that he was the foil to his niece's lucky family. Not only was he foolishly obedient to his parents, he was also a terrible father and husband!
Thankfully, Heaven has shown mercy. He gets a second chance at life, and this time he has not only gained a portable space, but also freed himself from his "shackles." At last, he can live for himself and his own little family!
What? Your nephew needs to study, and your elder brother's family wants you to pay part of the cost? Fine, let me adopt him. I'm not raising you for nothing!
What? Your niece wants to marry the son of the neighboring brigade leader, and you want me to pay part of her dowry? Fine, let's split the bride price. I'm not paying a dowry for nothing!
What? You can't stand me and want to sever ties?
Yang Jixi hurriedly told his wife to find a red sash and tie it around his forehead. Why tie it on? This is cause for celebration!
Everyone on the production team says Yang Jixi has changed. He is no longer "filial" to his elders, "respectful" toward his older brothers and sisters-in-law, or "protective" of the younger generation. But his family's life keeps getting better. Look, there he is again, bringing home a slab of meat.
Given a second chance at life, Yang Jixi wants only a loving marriage and a happy relationship with his daughters. He doesn't care about anything else.
In a nutshell: Don't be a foolishly obedient son, and refuse to be the family's workhorse! Devote yourself to your own little family!
This is an alternate-history period story. Please don't nitpick, please don't nitpick, please don't nitpick!
Next Book: I'm the Fussy Stepmother of the Male Lead from a Qidian Novel [The 1970s]
Feng Yingyue has had one misfortune after another since birth. After dying while saving a student, she learns that her past life was full of bad deeds. By a twist of fate, she returns to that life.
After receiving her memories, she realizes she's just gotten married. Her husband is a factory worker, while she is a country girl who has only been brought into his home for a few days.
The man has such good prospects that she should never have been a match for him. But he is a widower, and his former wife left behind a three-year-old son.
Being a stepmother in this life is one thing, but the name of her stepson is so familiar that Feng Yingyue's heart skips a beat!
Isn't this the male lead from a Qidian novel her colleague was reading?
He was born in the county town, but had a stepmother who abused him horribly. She mistreated him and was cruel to her in-laws, secretly taking the family's money back to her parents' home, then falsely accusing the male lead of stealing it.
His father was also indifferent to him. So he endured the humiliation and eventually became a tycoon with immense wealth, while his original stepmother was sent to some country to mine coal and died skeletal and gaunt on a bitterly cold winter day.
Looking at the little boy with chubby cheeks, standing in the doorway and curiously studying her, Feng Yingyue fell into deep thought...
Even Black Impermanence hadn't told her that in this life she was the wicked stepmother in a book!
Thinking of how she'd been an absolute menace in her past life, Feng Yingyue took a deep breath. ...This life is going to be such a headache.
After learning that her former husband had remarried, the guilt-ridden Qiao Siyu sneaked back. When her son left school, she pulled him aside and asked whether his stepmother treated him well.
Seeing her son nod, Qi Siyu agonized over it, then decided not to take him to find his biological father. After all, his father was a good-for-nothing. He had a better life in a factory worker's family.
"Stepmothers are all bad, so she won't treat you well. And your dad, too. Once there's a stepmother, there's a stepfather. You have to stay on your guard. When your mom has money, she'll come get you."
Qiao Siyu hugged her son and gave him tearful instructions.
Feng Yingyue, standing not far away, blinked and poked the tall man beside her. "I told you not to give the kid candy. Now you're a stepfather, see?"
The man took her hand in his, his voice low. "He's losing his baby teeth."

Reader's Guide:
1. An alternate-history period story with lots of original worldbuilding. Please don't take it too seriously.
2. Any personal attacks will be reflected right back! Back! Back!
Theme: Live for yourself.
The ending is bland and happy, so good. This is the only romance novel I have read in the past few years.
The story in Fubao's dream is more like the protagonist being transported through the system, so everyone in the story is unfortunate, and Fubao is like a person whose body has been taken away. He can only watch and get angry but can't do anything.
After reading this, I always wanted to ask what shell vegetables and oily meat are~~ I am very curious and want to eat them, and I am so hungry!
Plain and touching, what a great ending!
An unexpected but heart-warming ending
I am so satisfied with this ending that I applaud
I finished reading it, and it's a pretty good period story. I was very confused when I first read it. The male protagonist has superpowers, but he didn't embark on the road to wealth. Instead, he lived an ordinary life with the female protagonist, and helped the people around him to live better and better lives. After seeing their lives, I originally thought that some people who did bad things in the article had good endings. Maybe the answer is after reading it, and as long as you have kind thoughts, live your life well, and do things that you have a clear conscience, you can live a good life.
It's great, an ideal life
I have completely read the whole book and thanked the author for the red envelope. I rarely write reviews, mainly because I am too engrossed in reading them so I don't bother to write reviews.
It's very beautiful. I've already finished the second brush.
