Building the Port Mafia Into a Major Power

I'm a slime.

One of the [Eight-Star Demon Lords], and the ruler of a nation of monsters. I've been invited to become a Master for a certain organization next door that's trying to save humanity's history.

That's great! Now I've got a perfectly legitimate reason to ditch my duties and go out to play!

That was what I used to think, anyway.

After the previous leader died, the Port Corporation welcomed a new master.

They said the new leader was powerful, broad-minded, kind, and handsome. In just a few short months, the whole Port Corporation had become utterly devoted to him and willingly followed his lead.

The only problem was that he was impossible to track down and kept his information under wraps. No matter how much the outside world speculated about him, no one had ever seen the leader's true face.

The Special Division for Unusual Powers even sent in their agency's most promising workaholic as an undercover agent. He had just one core mission: find out what the new leader of the Port Corporation really looked like.

With that objective, Sakaguchi Ango entered the five towering buildings that were Yokohama's landmarks. Then, in the leader's office, he saw...

He saw...

...a round, translucent blue slime :)

[Reader's Guide]

1. Although the blurb is written in first person, the story itself is in third person.

2. Everyone loves the cute Demon Lord.

3. Wild fanon. If you argue with me, you're right. The original belongs to the author, OOC belongs to me.

4. The completed IF story, What Did the Slime Do Wrong This Time?, is available in my collection. (Throws confetti.)

5. The pairing is Storm Group, but I doubt the Storm Dragon will get more than a few chapters of screen time this time.

Theme: If you treat others sincerely, you'll receive the same sincerity in return. Bonds forged in the past will always remain, and no matter how time passes or the world changes, they will never wear away or fade.
