Xie Rongguan transmigrated into a book as the hypocritical, vicious scum bottom who was sent to the crematorium.
The scum bottom was born rotten. He betrayed and abused the male lead, driving him into a crazed, dark transformation. The male lead then took revenge on him with merciless cruelty, until Xie Rongguan's family was destroyed and he died with regrets.
When ordinary people transmigrate into a situation like this, they cling to the male lead, beg for forgiveness, and turn over a new leaf.
Xie Rongguan refuses to admit fault, slaps people, and has sex with the male lead.
A crematorium for the scum bottom?
He refuses to play along. He'll use endless melodrama to clear his name, earn the male lead's guilt, and then greedily devour his love.
First World: [The Spoiled Fake Young Master Refuses to Admit Fault]
[Drugging / drunken one-night stand / secret lover / abduction and near-death / coughing blood while self-harming / love and hate intertwined / locked in a dark room / love and hate intertwined]
Xie Rongguan is a fake young master who bullies men and women alike.
The real young master is an exemplary student whom he bullied at school.
As someone who has transmigrated, he can quickly finish the plot, fake his death, and escape to freedom, or cling to the male lead and beg for forgiveness.
But what actually happens is this:
The real young master is drugged.
Xie Rongguan drugs himself too and goes into the room, cutting himself to make it look like he's a pitiful victim who was forced into it.
The real young master argues with him.
Xie Rongguan silences his phone and gives him sleeping pills, making sure he won't receive the call begging for help when Xie Rongguan is kidnapped that night.
Just when the real young master is finally starting to soften toward him,
Xie Rongguan holds proof of his betrayal in one hand and interlaces fingers with his arranged-marriage partner in the other, determined to drive the real young master into becoming a mad, vengeful ghost who clings to him and crawls through the shadows.
Xie Rongguan crushes his rivals with ease and takes down his kidnappers single-handedly. Yet whenever the real young master arrives, all he sees is Xie Rongguan battered and bruised, his eyes filled with broken, anguished hatred.
Everyone thinks the real young master hates him. Xie Rongguan also wishes he would just die, because he has never once admitted his mistake to him, not even said a single word of regret.
Yet when Xie Rongguan finally wins back all his honors and clears his name, only to be forced by his parents into an arranged marriage, the real young master transforms into a rising business tycoon and uses his iron grip to snatch Xie Rongguan back on the day of the wedding.
Looking at Xie Rongguan sitting on the edge of the bed, clutching a bloodstained pair of scissors, the real young master tightly grips the deep, bone-exposing wound on his wrist. His eyes redden as if burning, and he stares blankly, tears falling.
"I misunderstood you for so long, and you still wouldn't tell me the truth... Do you hate me that much?"
Do you still hate me?
The real young master wants to ask: Do you still love me?
"..."
Xie Rongguan stays silent for a long time, until the real young master's tears have gone cold. Then he reaches out to embrace him. Where no one can see, the corner of his mouth curls into an utterly crazed smile.
"I forgive you," he says softly. "Take me home."
Second World: [His Frail Imperial Brother Is Sweet-Tongued and Treacherous]
The thing the Third Prince hates most in this life is the younger brother who clung to him and acted coy, seduced him into intimacy, and promised to support him for a lifetime, only to finally take up arms against him.
After ascending the throne, the first thing he does is throw his younger brother, who lost the succession struggle, into prison and confine him to a dark, damp corner for the rest of his life.
Even that doesn't satisfy his hatred. In places where no one else can see, the sickly beauty imprisoned in the dungeon disappears for a few nights at a time, while a new masked favorite appears in the Hall of Mental Cultivation, receiving the emperor's favor and enduring every sort of abuse in bed.
Their bodies grow more intimate, but their hearts grow further apart. As the Third Prince listens to his servants' reports day after day, he realizes he has never truly entered his younger brother's heart.
Watching the man, still as serene as the moon and breeze even in utter despair, grow more and more haggard until no medicine can save him, the Third Prince stands impassively outside the prison, looking at the jade pendant in his hand. Only then does he finally understand what it means to have his heart torn apart.
Third World: [Every Day, I Want to Escape My Ghostly Husband]
Double identity / secret identity / getting jealous of yourself / diary trope
Fourth World: [The Useless Green-Tea Character in a Farming Novel]
Beneath Xie Rongguan's beautiful, elegant face and gentle demeanor lies a dark, twisted soul.
This deranged madman wants nothing more than one person's passionate, unreserved feelings. Even if those feelings are nothing but hatred now, at least that hatred is directed solely at him.
Xie Rongguan wants true love.
The System doesn't understand: [Is this really worth it? You could be reborn as soon as you finish the plot. Why insist on staying in these little worlds and falling in love with the male lead?]
Xie Rongguan doesn't answer.
Actually, Xie Rongguan has a little secret.
He needs love because he isn't human. He's a "NPC" who has gone mad.
1. A gong who's crazy on the outside x a shou who's crazy on the inside
2. A game of wits between two love-crazed people. It looks like the shou is being tortured, but the gong suffers even more. The shou is mentally strong and stable, and everything he does is to achieve his goal. The gong isn't a scum gong, and the shou isn't a scum shou. The shou orchestrates all the misunderstandings and melodrama himself, so it's a redemption story of sorts.
3. The gong only loves the shou. From the first moment he sees him after transmigrating into a book, he falls for him completely. He can tell the difference between the original host and the shou, and has no romantic feelings for the original host.
4. Every little world has a happy ending! The gong and shou are both crazy about each other and madly in love. Their feelings are always mutual. Pure-love fans, come on in!
Pre-release, shou-centric novel: [Wooing a Family of Handsome Police Dogs [Nonhuman]]
[Alternate-universe Western setting + handsome police family + food + nonhuman characters + pica + egg-laying]
Lin Guichuan is Chinese and has been studying abroad for a year and a half. Even though he scrimps and saves, he's still too poor to afford food, so he finds himself an illegal job.
This is a genuine under-the-table job. His employers are the chief of the most famous private police force in Manhewen State and his three children: the notorious Richter family.
The Richter family is infamous locally. Not only do criminals tremble at the thought of them, but their fellow officers keep their distance too. People say they're demons who devour human flesh, and every criminal locked up at their station goes mad.
The eldest son, Jane Richter, is a flirt who can't resist a pretty face. The moment he sees Lin Yanci, his eyes light up. He teases him with one lewd comment after another, determined to make the country bumpkin blush and embarrass himself.
The second son, Arno Richter, is gloomy and suspicious. When Lin Yanci adds spices to the food, he thinks Lin is casting a curse on him. He immediately pulls a gun from his room and nearly shoots him dead on the spot.
The youngest son, Julian Richter, is practically the devil incarnate. He wears a sweet smile in front of outsiders but does nothing but evil behind their backs: stealing, robbing, killing, and setting fires. He spends all day mixing with criminals and has even been caught and brought in by his father and elder brothers several times.
And Osiris Richter, head of the Richter family and chief of the Richter police station, presses something hard and long against Lin's lower back the first time they meet.
The handsome, cold-eyed man looks down at him and says, "You're not welcome here. Leave."
Anyone treated like that would slap them across the face, turn around, and run, never to come back.
But Lin Guichuan only stares helplessly at the gun, clutching the straps of his backpack.
"I'm sorry... It's all my fault," he pleads. "But I really need money for school. Could you let me stay? I'll do anything."
The Richter family: "..."
But then again...
*
Lin Guichuan often tells the international students' group chat that his employers are kind and easygoing, and always treat him with patience.
In the photos he posts of himself working hard, expensive watches, custom-made clothes, and his fresh new outfits often appear in the frame by accident.
The other international students are green with envy, all praying they'll find a family to work for just like his.
Later, Lin Guichuan invites them to a party at his employers' home. The students stare wide-eyed at the address he sends to the group chat.
Those vicious cops from Manhewen State are your excellent, kind, and tolerant employers?!
*
Lin Guichuan's diary:
1. My employers' whole family smells so good, but they aren't food, so I can't eat them. I have to resist the urge to bite.
2. My employer is a very good person. He's willing to give me delicious, expensive ingredients, but he doesn't like me. I have to resist the urge to confess.
3. Most importantly, if I want to get along with them, I should pay attention not to what they say, but to what they do.
A new page appears in Osiris Richter's diary:
"A nesting partner... no, our partner is willing to stay, and even wants to eat us."
"He's so cute. I want to hide him away and keep him by my side forever."
"The first step in rebuilding our home is to keep our treasure here."

A gentle little rabbit with pica shou x a cold, sharp-tongued nonhuman family patriarch gong.
The whole Richter family are nonhuman, with a police force setting. The story is full of misunderstandings, making up, arguments, and family comedy. It looks dark and brutal, but is actually a healing story about two people choosing each other. I like happy family reunions wrapped in a twisted, gloomy exterior.
The children aren't the gong's biological sons! They're nonhumans who came into being through fission. The gong and shou are each other's only ones, in both body and heart.
1. Gong and shou are strictly 1v1, no switching and no breakups. Fans of pairing changes, stay away.
2. This is an alternate-universe American police setting, with a mix of Western elements, fantasy species, and original worldbuilding, so please don't argue about the setting. It's a fully independent world.
3. Overall, this is a sweet and satisfying story. The misunderstandings and angsty moments are just my personal preferences, and no one gets hurt.
Theme: If I draw near you, I draw near to pain; if I stay away from you, I stay away from happiness.
What about extras? Boss, where is my extra story? I'm unhappy
No matter if you interrupt their kiss or don't let the system finish what you said, I will feel very uncomfortable.
You took the tonic and left little Mao Mi behind 😭
Are you angry because Xie Rongguan hurt yourself? 🥺
No, it's so funny. Hahahahahaha. Silly little systems.
Wrong! Wrong! I followed this book to read the others, and found that there were 6 copies of this book in the advance collection of other introductions! What's left! Something is wrong, very wrong. Please write the rest.
This book really confused me. Especially the first dungeon, while reading, I kept thinking in my mind, "I am more ruthless than you (Zhao). If you get sick again (Guan), mercy is the only thing that can be earned (Guan). I will hate you with love (Zhao)"
Well it's over! So fast!
The young couple is so sweet 🥺🥺🥺
This Hu Yang has a completely selfish personality
