On /Demon/Island/ were five special death-row inmates. Their crimes were numerous and heinous. Their hands and feet were shackled, their mouths muzzled, and they were imprisoned for all eternity, with death as the only way out.

One day, an apple fell into the prison.

[I’ll give you a chance,] the apple said, exuding the scent that had tempted Adam. [A chance to get out of prison, as long as you do one thing for me.]

At its words, the death-row inmates shifted their eyes and slowly drew up strange smiles. “What do you want us to do?”

[I want you to tempt someone.]

[This person may be utterly loyal, or they may hold fast to their principles. You must tempt them, seduce them, make them betray their morals and break the taboos they have always protected, and then... kick them aside.]

As the voice faded, the chains on several inmates suddenly shattered. They took off their muzzles, picked up the apple, and smiled with guileless innocence.

“Sounds good.”

They loved watching people struggle in agony, going from refusing to the death to surrendering to desire, then dragging the moon that hung high in the sky down into the mire to sink together in the night.

And then they would take the moon into their arms

And watch the long night end and the sun rise together.

But when he saw the man finally let go and prepare to follow the old custom of marrying a well-matched noblewoman, Zhuang Qiushui personally tormented his unfaithful fiancé until he wished he were dead. Ignoring everyone’s strange looks, he began pursuing the man without restraint.

The poor student of the past had grown into a financial magnate. “To win your love, I’m willing to find the courage to stand against the whole world.”

The warden sneered, then sent the inmate to solitary confinement and forced him to service the warden in the dark cell.

But when the inmate’s male Zerg identity was revealed, the warden was forcibly matched with him. The warden knelt in silence, waiting to be abused and punished by the male Zerg according to the law, when a pair of hands easily undid the restraint on his face.

The prisoner looked down at him and asked, “Do you dare overthrow the entire empire with me?”
