[Synopsis]
There will always be people like this in the world: they were once the protagonist's closest friends, but fate dealt them a cruel hand, and they either died young or turned evil. They became the protagonist's moonlight, their cinnabar mole, and an indelible scar on their heart.
Now, the protagonists' friends have been handed those scripts.
They've decided to change their stories.
[School ABO]
Chen Zhui is an Alpha who smells like sparkling water. He also has an Alpha best friend who smells like lemons. They grew up together and have been inseparable for ten years.
Then one day, Chen Zhui got his hands on a script and learned that he was living in a coming-of-age tragedy.
His best friend was the male lead, and he and the protagonist's love interest were destined to play out a heartbreaking romance.
Chen Zhui was stunned. Looking at his best friend's cool, flamboyant face, he couldn't imagine him in a coming-of-age tragedy.
Chen Zhui: "What kind of tragedy are we talking about?"
The script said, "Well, you die because of the protagonist's love interest. Your death creates a huge rift between the male lead and his love interest. That's pretty tragic, in a coming-of-age sort of way."
Chen Zhui: ???
Chen Zhui: Damn.
For his own safety and his best friend's happiness, Chen Zhui decided not to interfere in his best friend's love story. He would wait until everything was settled before showing up again.
But as he began keeping his distance, his best friend's gaze grew stranger and stranger.
At last, during another autumn outing, Chen Zhui tried to slip away while his best friend and the protagonist's love interest were together, but his best friend cornered him.
His friend pressed him relentlessly, the scent of lemon growing stronger as he came closer. "What's going on with you lately? Are you in rut? In a bad mood? Or have you got your eye on some Omega?"
Chen Zhui was driven back step by step by the questions. Seeing the protagonist's love interest about to come over, he gritted his teeth and tried to push his friend away.
But in his haste, his lips accidentally brushed his best friend's.
Damn.
The protagonist's love interest stopped in his tracks. His best friend stopped. Chen Zhui stopped too.
Best friend (reining in the sour scent spilling out) (suddenly understanding) (overjoyed): You like me.
Chen Zhui (eyes closed): Well, now I'm screwed!
#I thought we were just buddies who snuck around and fooled around, but turns out we really did fool around#

[Starting a Business in the Old Days]
Cheng Yuyan met a friend in college. They hit it off at first sight, shared the same goals, and even went into business together.
Too bad that old saying is right: even the best of friends shouldn't start a company together.
In the end, the two really did fall out. Things got ugly, and they exchanged harsh words, swearing they would never see each other again.
Years later, they met again at a banquet. One of them navigated a once-humiliating business gathering with ease, wrapped in the refined exterior of a businessman. The other was still surrounded by admirers, casting over a cool, indifferent glance.
Their eyes met, and the air crackled with hostility. Cheng Yuyan could only drain his glass.
He never expected that, as the saying goes, even the surest hand can slip. The next morning, when Cheng Yuyan opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was the handsome chin of his former friend.
He looked up. His friend was watching him with a half-smile, then tossed the edge of the blanket in his hand over him, revealing a broad chest marked with unmistakable love bites.
His former friend, with his deep-set features and flashing eyes, spoke slowly and softly:
"So, what are you going to do about this, hmm?"
Cheng Yuyan's still-groggy brain exploded.
#Something more awkward than falling out and fighting with your best friend has happened#
#What do you do when you accidentally sleep with a friend you've already fallen out with?#
Reliable and loyal, but always missing a few screws top x Proud and prickly bottom who keeps his claws sheathed around the top
[Cultivation Clans]
Lu Bo was the protagonist's best friend in a fantasy novel, a peerless genius.
Unfortunately, in a male-oriented leveling-up story, a best friend on the protagonist's level either turns evil or dies to make readers cry.
Lu Bo didn't turn evil. He died one spring.
He died too early to even get a proper mention in the original story, and never got to be part of the protagonist's tumultuous life afterward.
When he opened his eyes again, it was winter many years later, and his friend was leaning against his grave, drinking.
The wind swept through the open plain at dusk, carrying a gloomy chill. His old friend wore black and looked road-worn, with specks of blood on the sword on his back. Even his once-reckless edges had softened, as though everything had finally settled.
"I avenged you. It took me years," his friend said softly, resting his forehead against the gravestone. "Why haven't you come back yet?"
Lu Bo thought: Next time, I should bring more wine. Isn't wine all a drunkard would ask for in the afterlife?
His friend couldn't hear him. After a while, he slowly drew his sword. Its blade gleamed with a cold light.
He murmured, "The ancients said that a man will die for the one who understands him. You died for me. Now it's my turn to die for you."
The swordlight was utterly resolute.
Lu Bo: ! Aren't you the one who treasures your life more than anything?!
The next second, he burst through his restraints and landed on the ground with a thump.
He looked up sharply and met his friend's stunned expression. The sword fell to the ground too.
Lu Bo could only pretend nothing had happened, raise a hand, and laugh. "What a coincidence! Hahahaha! Yanzhi, have you eaten yet?"
A top who coughs every few steps, isn't quite dead, but can really fight x The best in the world, yet still humble and composed bottom
