Female Lead's Perspective:
Whenever Ren Hao looks back on her life so far, she feels that it was stifling and full of grievances.
Her parents had high expectations for her, and she lived up to them, becoming the kind of child they could be proud of, step by step. But she wasn't happy, because she'd paid for all those achievements with three years of freedom in high school.
She complained to a friend, who asked, "Do you want to go back to high school?"
She answered, "Yes."
Her friend said, "Great. Then I'll recommend you to the principal to give a speech at our alma mater."
Ren Hao: "Huh?"
On the day of the new students' opening ceremony, Ren Hao returned to her old school as planned. Before she could even give her speech, something accidentally hit her, and she blacked out.
When she woke up again, everything had changed completely.
To her surprise, fate was on her side and Ren Hao had really returned to the past. This time, she would be herself and live as she pleased.
Then she went and...
Got caught up in someone else's fight after stopping to watch, and got kicked.
Tried to stand up for a classmate, but accidentally injured her leg.
Stood up for a friend, only to find out she'd gone after the wrong person.
Ren Hao: "Uh... yeah..."
Male Lead's Perspective:
For over a decade, Lu Ran's life had gone smoothly. His family was happy, his looks were impeccable, and his grades were always average. Even his luck was good. He'd managed to maintain a rare kind of balance in every part of his life.
But then one day, that balance was broken. A girl barged into his wonderful life. She was as tenacious as a weed and seemed to be everywhere.
He got into a fight, and she was watching nearby when she got caught up in it and took a kick from him. After the fight, he even had to clean her up.
He climbed over the school wall to get out, and his clothes accidentally snagged on the fence. He could have just eased them free, but she happened to walk by and insisted on helping. Then she fell and hurt her leg. He had to get his clothes down and carry her to the hospital right away.
Someone asked him to pass a love letter to his friend. He thought it was a private matter between the two of them and refused. Unfortunately, she saw that too, and the next day, everyone was calling him a jerk.
Lu Ran: "You ruined my reputation. You're taking responsibility."

Lu Ran: "Your hao is the hao in 'the deer calls, eating the wild hao.'"
