You sit in a dim room with no windows. The only door leading outside is firmly shut.
In the middle of the room is a desk, the most common kind found in schools: old, with a tabletop covered in scratches and a large, empty space underneath. It looks somewhat familiar. Your fingers brush over the words carved into the upper-right corner, and you suspect you're imagining things. After all, school desks all look the same across the country.
There's a chair beside the desk. You simply sit down, lean against the backrest, and fold your hands on the desk like a student.
