Hero Saitama has recently become obsessed with a game.
It's a very down-to-earth game: completing quests earns coupons for malls and supermarkets, perfectly catering to the simple desires of working people.
Although the gameplay is awful, Saitama still diligently grinds his daily quests, never skipping a single side quest.
Every day, he repeats the painful routine of being beaten into the ground by villains and failing to protect peace in another world.
Until one day, the game launches a full-dive mode...
No citizen in any of the other worlds would ever forget the day they were ruled by a bald man.

Through his unrelenting perseverance, he finally pushes his quest progress to 95%.
The game developers post a server-wide announcement:
[Warning! [Villain] Caped Baldy is about to destroy multiple worlds. The interworld protection mechanism has been triggered. A server-wide bounty quest has been issued: Kill Caped Baldy!]
[World fusion in progress...]
Saitama frowns. Wasn't he playing a save-the-world campaign? Why does his title say villain?
His companions, who are eagerly cracking their knuckles nearby, clear things up for him.
Righteous companion, Satoru: My hobby is humanity. My least favorite thing is humanity, too.
Kindhearted Russian: Create a world without superpowers.
Elegant Reaper, Lord Aizen: Humanity is nothing more than apes dressed in finery.
Saitama: ...Is it too late to switch sides?
