There is someone in her heart.
Whenever she thinks of him, the icy ache in her chest slowly melts, seeping into her throat until it hurts. Still, she cannot bring herself to let go.

Back in school, when he had to memorize poems, the line "The quiet maiden is so lovely" always stayed in his mind. Whenever he found himself looking at her, he couldn't quite understand what he was feeling.
Later, for reasons he couldn't explain, a copy of The Book of Songs appeared on his bookshelf.
"Zhang Yucheng, do you like me?"
I do. I like you very much.
