Chu Zhongsheng, founding emperor of the Great Zhou dynasty, had only just ascended the throne when he died young from old injuries.
When he opened his eyes again, he found himself on a vast grassland.
Chu Zhongsheng: Where is my empire? Where is my realm?
A thunderous roar burst from his mouth. Chu Zhongsheng lowered his head and stared at his two front paws and the imposing yet oddly sexy tiger stripes on them, then fell into a long silence.
Chu Zhongsheng ran around the grassland on all fours. At last, he accepted reality.
The king of beasts is still a king!
Chu Zhongsheng decided to conquer the grassland before him.
[Ding! The Overlord System is at your service. Host's current prestige: 100. You may summon subjects once. Summon now?]
Summon subjects?
Chu Zhongsheng thought of General Zhenbei and General Zhengxi, who had followed him on countless campaigns and helped him conquer an empire. With those two at his side, what could stop him from ruling the grassland?
Chu Zhongsheng didn't hesitate: [Summon!]
[Ding! Summoning complete. Please receive your subject.]
Chu Zhongsheng waited a moment, then saw a lame old wolf wagging its tail as it ran toward him.
Chu Zhongsheng glared with his tiger eyes and pounced. While he waited for the two generals, he could have a hearty meal first.
The lame old wolf was knocked down by the tiger's paw. Just as the tiger was about to bite, it hurriedly cried, "Your Majesty, I am your remonstrance official!"
Chu Zhongsheng stared at the old wolf beneath his paw and asked, "The remonstrance official who says 'Your words are uncultured' and 'How improper' every time he opens his mouth?"
The lame old wolf: "Your Majesty, it is I."
Chu Zhongsheng: "..."

When the zoo in the western part of the city moved, a tiger went missing. After searching everywhere, the staff finally found it among a pack of wolves.
The staff used a tranquilizer gun and finally managed to bring the tiger back to the zoo.
But that very night, a pack of wolves surrounded the zoo. Their howls rang out one after another, creating a sinister, terrifying atmosphere. The terrified director immediately released the tiger.
Before long, the tiger who ruled the wolf pack became an online sensation.
"Can someone explain how a tiger became the wolf king?"
"What's wrong with the king of beasts ruling a wolf pack?"
"I heard this tiger holds meetings with the wolves every morning."
"Are you sure you don't mean court sessions?"
"Tiger King: All the beasts under heaven are my subjects! Wolves: Long live Your Majesty!"
"Hahahaha, that last comment killed me."
Other beast kings and their subjects will be unlocked later.
