The Villainous General's Soft-Food Incubus

Jiang Chanyue first meets Tang Jian amid the chaos of war, in the midst of a dramatic rescue. Even the sweeping yellow sand cannot obscure her breathtaking beauty. She is like a red rose blooming in the desert, passionate and dazzling. Jiang Chanyue thinks to herself, Which family's Qianyuan is this, so devastatingly beautiful? What a disaster!

But by evening, this woman appears at her residence. Apparently, she's the wife Jiang married six months ago. She doesn't bring ruin to the country or its people; she's here specifically to ruin Jiang's life...!

Tang Jian has transmigrated into a minor character in a book she read eighteen years ago. An imperial edict orders her to marry the heroine, with a hen in her arms. Her new wife is Jiang Chanyue, the wronged, ill-fated general and villainess of the story. After the foolish girl she loves is stolen away by a sweet, innocent schemer, she refuses to give up Jiang's power, keeping their relationship ambiguously entangled. In the end, she successfully drives Jiang Chanyue to darkness, provoking her into striking back and becoming the story's tragic villainess.

Tang Jian is the court's reward to Jiang Chanyue. She joins the army with an important mission. As her mother puts it: "Have two children in three years, or don't come home!" Tang Jian steels herself and travels to the border to share a bridal chamber with her general wife...!

But in half a month, she hasn't even caught sight of the woman. The general is either fighting or on her way to fight. Before Tang Jian can catch her breath, the enemy forces overrun the general's residence, and she goes from a delicate flower to a foxtail grass, running for her life...!

Until the heroine, dressed in red, hoists her onto a horse with a silver spear...!

A slice-of-life farming story about how to have and raise children! (ABO)
