After Forcing a Depressed, Cynical Dragon-Aotian to Get His Act Together

1. Some overpowered chosen ones are so relentlessly targeted by malice that their fates take a terrible turn. They suffer repeated setbacks, become useless, and sink into apathy and decadence, spending their days seeking pleasure. According to the assessment, Li Xianmiao is one of them. As a System, Chongming's first mission is to help him rise again and become a powerful cultivator. Step one: establish a bond with him. It excitedly seeks him out and asks for his consent. But he not only refuses, he acts like a complete jerk, turns the tables on it, and dumps it. Its first mission ends in failure, and Chongming turns evil. 2. Li Xianmiao is sick of the mortal world and figures he'll just muddle through each day. Suddenly, an otherworldly being comes to him, offering to bond with him and help him soar to success. He has no interest, and uses a trick to get rid of it. Unfortunately, he doesn't finish the job. Before long, it comes back and forcibly bonds with him, setting a series of ridiculously ambitious goals. [One month: Heal your injuries and illness.] [One year: Get rid of the useless label...] [Three years: Reach the Qi Condensation stage.] [Ten years: Reach the Divine Journey stage and become the strongest in the spirit realm.] Li Xianmiao's smile disappears. He stares coldly at it. Chongming is powerful enough to fear no threats. It sets up rewards and punishments, hoping to turn its Host into a dragon and forcing him toward his goals. Its policy is simple: if he won't work himself to death, then work him to death. Until a bolt of heavenly lightning scatters its power. 3. It tries to hide what happened, but karma comes around, and the truth is exposed that very night. Seeing its Host's unfriendly gaze, it cautiously approaches to curry favor, but loses its footing, hits the ground, and splashes mud all over him. Chongming: ... No need for you to dirty your hands, sir. Chongming gives up, digs a hole, and buries itself. The next moment, the other man smiles and lets bygones be bygones. Holy crap... Did I get away with it by being cute? 4. Chongming discovers a whole new world. Every day, it sweet-talks and acts cute to "beg" the Host to improve himself. He's more obedient than ever, except for one thing: he likes making all sorts of things for it to bathe in. Once, the bath got so hot the whole ball of it was scalded. "It'll be better in a little while," the Host reassures it. It squirms uncomfortably in the Host's arms. In the middle of the night, it suddenly turns human. It looks up in confusion and meets a pair of dark eyes. Li Xianmiao slips his fingers into its hair and chuckles softly. "You're just as good-looking as I imagined. I want to fuck you." Chongming: ??? * [Host's cultivation guidelines: Love yourself, your family, and the world.] Li Xianmiao: Got it. [Study hard, ask questions, and keep researching.] Li Xianmiao: Got it. [Stay away from romance and keep yourself pure.] Li Xianmiao: Got it. I'll never fall for anyone. A playboy on the surface but a smiling schemer underneath top X a fresh, cute, and slightly sharp-tongued System bottom Before you read: The top is impotent early on, so later he might possibly get a little twisted? The bottom isn't technically human at first, so it uses "it," not "he." This novel is just for fun. Please don't fight in the comments.
